Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture so we can create and secure your account. We do not receive your Google password.
• Your collection. The items you add (brand, model, notes, ratings, purchase details, and similar fields) and the photos you upload.
• Scan images. Photos you submit to identify an item with AI.
• Basic technical data. Standard request logs from our hosting provider (e.g. IP address, timestamps) used to operate and protect the service.

How we use it

• To provide the app — store, display, and manage your collection.
• AI identification. When you use a scan, your image and details derived from it are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) and may be checked against public web sources to identify the item and fill in product facts. Your photos are not used to train AI models.
• To secure accounts, prevent abuse, and fix problems.

Shared identification cache

To make identification faster and cheaper, recognised product facts (such as a brand, model, or fragrance note list) are stored in a shared cache that benefits all users. This cache contains information about products — not your photos, personal details, or which items you own.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the service providers that run Worn, acting on our behalf:

• Supabase — authentication, database, and photo storage.
• Vercel — application hosting.
• Anthropic — AI identification of scanned images.

We may also disclose information if required by law.

Photos and storage

Uploaded photos are stored in your own folder, and only you can add, change, or delete files there. Image links are public and unguessable — anyone with a specific link can view that image, so treat shared links accordingly.

Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete individual items at any time. To delete your entire account and its data, click here and our support team will remove it.

Your choices

• Access and edit your data directly in the app.
• Delete items, or request full account deletion.
• Revoke Google access from your Google Account settings.

Children

Worn is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
